Joseph.Kanu,

He lectures the following subjects:Communications, Data Processing, Circuits,Digital Systems.
He obtained his University education at the Fourah Bay College,University of Sierra Leone between 1975 and 1980.
He graduated with a second class upper division degree in Electrical Engineering and his B.Eng dissertation was "High Speed Arithmetic and Logic Unit"
1981-82 he studied and obtained his Masters(MSc Telecommunications Systems) at the School of Science and Engineering,University of Essex,England.
He was a teacher between 1975-1981 and in 1982 he entered the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
He obtained his PH D in Telecommunication Systems Technology at the University of Aston,Birmingham,England in 1991.
He has attended several workshops all over the country and did a course in in Cantania,Italy on Thermal Applications on Renewable Energy.

He grduated from The University of Sierra Leone in 1988 with a class 2 division one degree in Electrical Engineering.
In 1993 he did his Masters in Power Electronics at the College of Swansea in Wales.
Later he obtained his doctorate degree in Power Electronics at the same College in 1995.
He lectures the following subjects:Power Electronics, Control Systems,Industrial Electronics.

He started with the department in April 1966,and has served for the past 33 years.
